Donna McBride is a Northern Ireland based artist now residing in the rural countryside.

She creates paintings in a classical figurative style but brings a modern twist with her vibrant and energetic use of colour and movement, the skills and disciplines required to be a modern-day artist were attained from her time at the ‘University of Ulster Art College’ in Belfast.

Donna graduated from the University of Ulster and has been working as a professional in the art industry for the last 15 years. Now with the power of social media, she’s bringing her art to a much wider global audience, drawing from her experiences of city life to now being exposed to the rural Irish countryside.

 

Donna paints all subject matter ranging from flowers to rock n roll icons with her latest collection capturing the energy and movement of children, this collection was inspired by her young family.
